A Journey Beyond Earth: NASA Astronaut Dr. Tracy Dyson on Red Planet Live

We’re excited to announce that the Mars Society’s Red Planet Live podcast, hosted by Ashton Zeth, will feature an in‑depth conversation with Dr. Tracy C. Dyson on Tuesday, April 15th (5:30 pm CT / 3:30 pm PT).

Dr. Dyson is a veteran NASA astronaut and scientist whose career is as distinguished as it is inspiring. With over 1,000 hours in space across multiple missions and a Ph.D. in chemistry, she has been at the forefront of scientific research on the International Space Station.

Her work has also helped advance our understanding of how microgravity affects materials and human physiology, and she’s been a key contributor to experiments that explore the unique properties of matter in space.

During the 60‑minute RPL broadcast, Dr. Dyson will share her personal journey as an astronaut, discuss the challenges and rewards of living and working in microgravity, and provide insights into how chemical research on the ISS is driving breakthroughs in space exploration.

We invite you to submit your questions for her—whether you’re curious about the science of microgravity, the future of space technology, or her experiences aboard the ISS. This is an unmissable opportunity to hear from one of NASA’s most accomplished figures.
