Ars Technica’s Eric Berger to Discuss SpaceX, Reusable Rockets & the Future of Space Exploration on Red Planet Live

The Mars Society is excited to announce that Eric Berger, Senior Space Editor at Ars Technica and author of the acclaimed books “Liftoff” and his latest, “Reentry”, will be the next guest on the Red Planet Live podcast, hosted by Ashton Zeth, on Tuesday, Oct. 15th at 5pm PT!

Eric will discuss “Reentry” and the development of SpaceX’s reusable rockets, focusing on their role in making space travel more affordable. With extensive expertise in aerospace and space policy, Eric will also answer questions on NASA policy, the rapidly growing space industry, astronomy, and much more.

Eric holds an astronomy degree from the University of Texas and a master’s in journalism from the University of Missouri. He spent 17 years as a reporter for the Houston Chronicle, where the paper became a Pulitzer Prize finalist in 2009 for his coverage of Hurricane Ike. He is also a certified meteorologist and founder of Space City Weather and The Eyewall.
