Commander's ReportApril 19, 2008Henrik HargitaiAfter a late wake up, EVA-11 went to Kissing Camel Range with severalplans but had to be cut short because of unusually strong winds. At thehab, microscopic observations were made of concretions and lichens and3D anaglyph images were created using the days images. In the afternoonin EVA-12 we planned to revisit sites visited by crew 42 in 2006 andtake pictures for change detection. We believe we found the site but itchanged considerably. Analysis later. The generator had similarproblems as before yesterday but was solved successfully using thetechnique learned from local mission support. EVA-12 was a sunset EVAwhich had a beautiful sunset and moon-rise EVA closing the day.
